Slime Care Info

How should I store my slime?

Always wash your hands before playing with slime and use a clean surface.

After playing, place your slime back into its airtight container and store it in a cool area away from direct sunlight and heat.

Proper care helps your slime stay fresh and enjoyable longer.

What if my slime becomes sticky?

Slime can become sticky over time, especially during warmer weather.

Add a very small amount of slime activator at a time, kneading the slime between additions until it reaches the consistency you like.

Be careful not to add too much activator at once because over-activating can make slime stiff.

What is slime activator?

Slime activator is not edible and should never be swallowed or placed in the mouth.  Keep activator away from eyes, broken or irritated skin, babies, young children, and pets.  Wash hands after use.

Slime activator is typically a diluted borax solution used to adjust the consistency of slime.

Always follow the instructions provided with your activator and use only a small amount at a time.

Adult supervision is recommended when preparing or using borax solution.

What if my slime becomes stiff?

Slime may become firmer over time or if too much activator is added.

Try warming the slime gently in your hands while playing with it. Depending on the slime texture, a small amount of an appropriate slime-softening ingredient may also help.
